I suggest you make him something special like a hand made (scrap booking type) photo album with pictures of the family, friends, even your pets. Get the whole family to join in an let each one write a little note and put that in the album as well. I'm sure he will enjoy pageing through it when he feels a bit lonely and long to be home.

I am a US citizen with a graduate degree who got picked up to work in the UK with UBS for one year (internship). They have applied for my work permit but I want to know, what kind of things could disqualify from getting the permit? Should I be worried about my 2 and a half year old sister?

Ok, I'm 19 and have a 2 and a half yr old half sister. Look! I love the Colts and I am hoping they can win tomorrow. But Indianapolis is a city that has alot of people who are willing to show respect to everyone. I think its great that players and their fans can come here as guests and feel comfortable. When the Saints came to Indy to kick off the season alot of their fans where saying Indianapolis was the friendliest major city that they have ever been to! Ovulation Test question...got a positive last nite..but a negative tonite, please help me!!!!!?

ok first of all me and my husband are ttc our first baby...my last period was oct 28-nov 2..and my cycle last month was 25 days..it came a little early, so i knew i would probably ovulate early too..so anyways i got a ovulation kit for the first time(clear blue easy digital)...and i started testing on thursday nite (nov 5th).. i got a negative thursday and friday..but then last nite( saturday) i got a positive: )..we did have saturday morning but we couldnt have after i took the test sat nite cus my husband works nites..so today we had 3 diff times..but anyways im wondering if it was too late cus out of curiousity i tested again around the same time 2nite and it was negative..so im wondering if i could of missed my fertile time...i know the box says once u get a positive its best to have within 24-48 hours for best chances of conceiving..so does anyone think i could of missed my fertile window? and why wud the test be negative today when it was positive last nite? thanks for your help!!

I recently visited Oakland County Circuit Court in Pontiac, Michigan for my Criminal Justice cl. I didn't get the chance to give a description of the courtroom layout for Judge Sosnick. We have to describe what the courtroom looks like and I'm kind of blanking on the layout. I know the Judges desk/podium is at the front with the judges clerk to my right. The jury seats are two my left and then the prosecutor's area is to my right and the defense against the left. Basically I can't fully remember how many benches were in the room. In a few days I have orientation for a possible new job with teenage kids. At the orientation they will show me around their facility, train me a little and show me what the job would involve. I was having a video call with my friends tonight on msn and I was crying with laughter. I became really dizzy and my head felt heavy from laughing so much. I almost ped out on several occasions. I thought at first this was nothing to be weary of, but noticed it very severely today. I also have other conditions like tremors, heart palpations, severe anxiety, and burning sensations in the feet/legs. My doctor wont take me seriously, but I have never had an episode bad like this before. My body was swaying back and forth and I was disorientated. What is wrong? I went to a cardiologist last year and got a clean bill of health, as well as had a pulmonary function test and everything was fine. I am really scared and this is starting to ruin my life. Why should I be afraid to laugh???? I still feel very dizzy and feel like I am still going to p out, and it's been an hour.

hi i have recently brought a second hand pc, it had no speakers with it, i have some jbl speakers from a previous pc i have plugged them in to the right jack at the back, when i boot up the pc i hear it say "the pc will now boot from hard drive" but when it has booted up i can't hear any sound file or online sounds ect, i have no volume link at the bottom right where clock is, but when i go into volume controls i only have option for WAVE, MIDI SYNTH, AND CD AUDIO, they are all turned up but still nothing, when i go into control panel and sound and audio devices it says SB AUDIGY AUDIO FFE0 but the device audio is faded out i cant turn it up there and speaker settings and advance on is faded out, how could i get these speakers to work?

How does a person go about trusting another?

Ever since I was young I was insanely cynical about everything, I had a 'rough' childhood, I'll leave it at that, it left me with some major trust issues. It seems like every time I start to really trust someone they betray that trust. I know that I'm probably picking the wrong people to trust but honestly they never give any sign that they can't be trusted until it's too late, actually it's almost as if they gain my trust for the soul purpose of breaking it. I don't understand how people can be like that towards others I try to be good to everyone and I just seem to get stomped on. What should I do? I have considered just becoming a prick but it's just not in my nature to be like that. I need people that I can really rely on that wont cut me down as soon as they get a chance. I have maybe two friends that I can really rely on, every girlfriend I have ever had has treated me like dirt. I put up with just about everything they do to me telling myself that maybe if I gave the relationship time things would get better but they only get worse. I'm not desperate and I'm not clingy, I'm not ugly and I don't think I'm a bad person. I treat them well, I do all that I can for them and just get beaten back down to a cynical pessimistic shell of a person. How can I get out of this rut? Over the last 6-9 months my right forearm has been getting more and more painfull, It's now got to the point that I can't lift a cup without imense pain sweeping through it. XBOX 360 game wasn't in the sealed box when I bought it...?

Ttc.. when to carry out ovulation tests??(can manage only 3-4)?

I didn't use an ovulation test to conceive. For me I just watched for a clear discharge and when it became thick enough that I could pull it between my fingers a little and it didn't break I would have that day, skip a day, have , skip a day and then have again. For me, I got pregnant after only 2 months of trying using that method so for me I don't think ovulation tests are necessary...

CC is not a poor source of information. you will run into obnoxious people and nice people everywhere. it seems as though you have run into the parents who have too much time on their hands and who like to gloat about their children's achievements. that's all it is; annoying parents. again, you will find all types of people everywhere. don't be discouraged by an unrepresentative sample. visit schools and talk to students. i ended up at an ivy and one of the reasons was because i truly think everyone there is kind and always willing to help out. most of the time when i looked lost, i didn't even have to ask for help, i was just offered it.

Hello all, I recently had a CT scan and the iodine Intravenous blew my vein and am experiencing side effects.?

My arm at first swole up for a while, the doctor told me as long as I don't get a hard lump I should be fine. Now it's a week later, the swelling is gone, but I have a big purple spot on my forarm that looks almost like a bruise that has been there for about 4 days, and today I noticed majoity of my forarm is a yellowish greenish color (like that of a bruise). I'm hoping it's just bruising after the swelling went away, but not sure. Anyone have any clue? Thanks!

I have a three month old nansun conure and this is what is working for me: When I can anticipate his biting, I keep a toy nearby as well as some treat seed. When he bites or nibbles, I slide his beak off and onto the toy. When he's done with the toy I tell him he's a good bird and give him a seed. Don't let him nibble as this tells him he's allowed to bite that object. Whatever you do, if he does bite, don't react...he'll try to bite agan to get that same reaction again.

I had a situation like this in high school, and it practically lasted the entire four years. Like you, I kind of liked the guy back, but he never seemed to get it together enough to ask me out or anything. He just displayed this love/hate behavior towards me and played head games. It turned out to be a colossal waste of my time (I could probably have been with so many other people and instead I waste time waiting around for him to get his head straight). This guy is now married and has children, so he did eventually mature beyond a grade schooler, but after we were both long gone from our hometown. So, in short, he's extremely immature. Maybe in a year or so he'll get his act together and mature enough to treat you like you deserve to be treated, but I honestly doubt it. Don't waste your precious time on him like I wasted mine. You're young and there are plenty of other guys to like. Forget about him. He finally finds his marbles and can deal with his feelings maturely, I'm sure you'll be the first to know.

Oh my gosh! it is unreal how much this is like my one friend! She is obsessed over this one guy, so much she stalked him for about a month or so (she doesn't anymore). Well, I have no idea what to tell you. The only thing I could say is, love is something that you shouldn't have to ask other people for. You should know right in your heart which is and isn't love. Don't take this the wrong way. Just because I'm saying this doesn't mean that it isn't love. You need to look in your heart. No one can answer this for you. I didn't get violent, but I messed up his room real bad after and during the incident b/c he dragged me across the floor several times. Difficult to say esp as different company different practices. Most likely ppl are not offended but coworkers may prefer that you stay home and get better before returning to work esp anything contagious. Other ppl hate working through the day or week while sick. Okay, so I've liked this one guy since last September and I really want to know if he likes me, so I wanted to see what your opinions were. So i'll start. A couple weeks ago, he would always stare at me out of his bus window. That went on for about 2 weeks. Now, I had my friend start asking him all these questions I wanted to know about him for me and then he stopped staring at me out the window. Lastly, once when I was going to spanish, he was going too and when we were going there he looked back while he was walking and looked right at me, then turned right back around.
