What to wear to new job orientation?
In a few days I have orientation for a possible new job with teenage kids. At the orientation they will show me around their facility, train me a little and show me what the job would involve. It's not a sit down interview and I don't have the job yet. So I want to dress professionally, but I don't want to overdress. I'm attempting to switch fields from professional business to working with children. Normally I would I would wear a dress suit with heels, but I sort of feel that's a little too dressy. I don't know what to wear? Do you have any suggestions. Are khaki's, a on down shirt, brown suede shoes that tie not dressy enough? How about a pair of black slacks, on down shirt and black shoes with no heels. Do I bring anything with me a resume? a small of pad of paper to take notes?
