Do you ever think about not buying any Christmas presents?

Some people who believe in the birth of Jesus Christ have decided to no longer participate in the commercialization of Christmas. The hype which seems to be about the stressful shopping and then 99.9% of the glory going to Santa Claus, snowmen, and reindeer, INSTEAD of Christ. Are you not sick of this pressure to spend money on presents for people who never mention Christ except as a swear word? Then they may not appreiciate what you bought? I can see buying something for small children who would not understand. Why do we do this?
