Why my tile cutter cannot cut straight ? can it be that the blade is not sharp?

it is my first time to lay tiles now i need to cut some tiles. but the cutter that i hired is not cutting the way i want, is it the blade to the cutter is not sharpen do I need to change the blade, or is it me don't know how to use the cutter,
