Hi i asked how to handle my twins ,but now i need some advice on when and what i should punish them for?

If i punish them every time they do something wrong theyll have to stay in a corner for the rest of the day.They never stop.They just flipped my couch upside down ,they threw their books and crayons everywhere,and i was right there telling them to stop and pick up their things or i would hide or throw them in the garbage and they acted like i wasnt even there.I dont know what to do anymore ,cause even if i punish them ,they forget too easily how much they didnt like their punishment and they start all over again .I think that they just get a satisfaction of seeing me screem and cry.(i dont screem at them ,i just screem in a pillow to cool off,then i cry)
